Vasia Paraskevopoulou born in Athens. She graduated from “Veaki Drama School” and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

She has worked both in theatre and cinema as an actress and assistant director.

As an actress she has basiclly collaborate with “PLAYBACK Ψ” theatre which is based exclusively in improvisations. Throughout the play the performers they don’t follow a specific text but they use and rewriting on real time on stage stories of the audience. (Director/Coordinator in Greece: L. Yiotis.)

In 2010 she established the “Little Pyrotechnics” theatre company. Vasia organise the productions and also works as a play writer and director for the team.
The “Little Pyrotechnics” activities focus in children’s theatre and until now they have complete the production of the following plays:
- “sand in my school –bag” (2010/2011)
- “the big journey of the small bug Kornilios” (2012/2013)
- “the boy and the wish_ (2013/2014)
The plays have toured in theatres and schools and the second play has also recorded for the radio.

As an actress she has also worked at the following projects
“Goldbloom” directed by Y. Vouzoulidis, “Minor confessions” music play in cooperation with “Estoudiatina” band,“Daphne and Chloe” in progress directed by C. Crauzinis
“ Nostalgos” directed by E. Alexandraki (cinema),“Little Indian boy” directed by S. Stagos (cinema)
and as assistant director
“the weightlifter and the Angelo” directed by E. Alexandraki, “ Looking for Idipous” directed by A. Kralli

She has also written children stories and her first book is in the proses of been published in November of 2015.

She used to collaborate with educational foundations as a play writer and director for specific projects and these plays have been toured in numerous schools all over Greece.

She writes theatre plays,short stories and also lyrics.
